Health News

October 2017

Kate Arrowsmith has asked for names of dogs to be sent to her for the Give a Dog a Genome project.

The dog must be 8yrs of age or older, in good health and will have to undergo eye testing including gonioscopy.

Gonioscopy is an evaluation of the internal drainage system of the eye --also referred to as the anterior chamber angle which is the angle where the cornea and iris meet. This is the location where fluid inside the eye (aqueous humor) drains out of the eye and into the venous system.
The cost of the eye examination will be refunded but not travelling expenses.
If you or anyone you know wish to put any dog forward please submit details to Kate Arrowsmith  on
All names submitted will be put into a hat and an independent will draw a name 3 weeks from now.
